Covid - 19 (Coronavirus)
We are working with our village partners to offer support to those who are currently self-isolating.
Broadhempston Community Shop are offering food deliveries to those in the 'vulnerable category' or who are self-isolating. Please take a look at their Facebook page for up to date information - just search from Broadhempston Community Shop.
Our pubs, The Coppa Dolla and The Monks Retreat are also offering takeaway meals. Please take a look at their Facebook pages.
Broadhempston Parish Council are also offering a volunteering scheme - leaflets have been sent to every house. You can register for support with the clerk and we are very lucky to have a wealth of volunteers who can collect supplies and prescriptions for you and deliver the straight to your door! Please contact the clerk for more information.
We also use Facebook to provide information, this is the best way of
getting up to date on what we are doing.
We are looking at other ways of keeping our community connected through these difficult times and will post information as and when we have it!
BRINC are also here to help through the Covid-19 crisis. If you are experiencing hardship at this time, please do get in contact with them (details on the Broadhempston Relief in Need page of this website). Any information passed to them is held in total confidence.

Remember, you should only leave your home for the following reasons:
- to shop for basic essentials and only when you really need to
- to do one form of exercise a day, such as a run, walk or cycle, alone or with people you live with
- for any medical need i.e. to visit a pharmacy or deliver essential supplies to a vulnerable person
- to travel to and from work, but only where this is absolutely necessary.
